How do I know my finger size? Having the correct finger size is critical since the stones go completely around the entire band. Any jeweler can easily size your finger. We are also happy to send you a set of ring sizers to ensure the correct fit. Sizing Rings Can the rings be sized? Unfortunately, the rings cannot be sized. They can have an inside guard put in if the ring is too big. Sizing up is not possible. That is why we highly emphasize the correct finger size. I am pregnant now and my fingers are swollen, how can I know my size? This can get tricky. If you are certain your fingers will return to your original size, you can get the size of your wedding rings by taking them into a jeweler. It is a fairly common “rule of thumb” that one’s left hand, if right-handed, is approximately 1/2 size smaller than their right. How wide are the bands? Both our Premier, Classic and Charming Heart style bands are approximately 4mm. Our Stackers are 3mm and our Snuggles are 2mm. What is the difference between white gold and platinum? Platinum is an extremely pure metal and will not react to people’s skin. Platinum is heavier and more durable than white gold. Though it is rare, some people have problems with white gold and only wear platinum. White gold looks like platinum. Keep in mind, it does wear differently. White gold has plating named rhodium which makes the metal more of a bright white. It can wear over time but can be re-plated or re-finished by most jewelers. What is the difference between 14kt and 18kt? When something is entirely composed of gold, it is 24 karat. The number of karats is a ratio of the mixture. 14kt is made of 14 parts gold combined with 10 parts of another base metal and 18kt is composed of 18 parts gold with 6 parts of base metal. Therefore 18kt has a higher gold content. In yellow gold it tends to be deeper and richer in color. 18kt gold is commonly used in Europe. How long will it take for my ring to come in? Order time is approximately 2 weeks. Rush orders are available at an additional charge. Charge varies according to style and stones. Contact us for further information. Most of my jewelry is in yellow gold, can I do the rings in yellow? We are happy to make any style in yellow gold. Keep in mind many of the stones have a softer appearance in white. Another suggestion is adding a pair of yellow gold “Snuggles”. Placing a yellow “Snuggle” on either side makes a fabulous two-tone ring. Is it better to have the ring high polished or matte finished? It is truly a matter of preference. Both finishes will wear/scratch similarly. Will the finish wear off? The diamond and sapphire bands can easily be refinished to the original state. You can even replace the matte finish yourself with standard Scotch-Brite™. We do not recommend using Scotch-Brite™ on the birthstones. Why is the pink diamond so much more than the blue diamond ? How do they get their color? Girls always cost more than boys! But honestly, pink diamonds are one of the most rare and valuable diamonds in the world. They are natural in color. Our blue diamonds are treated/irradiated to become the appropriate shade of blue. There are natural blue diamonds but they tend to be too grey or dull in color. Can I use my child’s birthstone instead of the sapphires? Are they as durable? Absolutely, we are happy to customize our rings. Please keep in mind many of the birthstones are fragile and susceptible to breakage. Sapphires are very strong and will wear better than many of the birthstones. What if a stone breaks? We will replace any broken sapphires or diamond for a period of 1 year free of charge. After that there will be a minimal fee to replace damaged or broken stones. Due to the brittleness of many of the birthstones there will be small service charge to replace them once the ring has been purchased. What if I have more than 1 child? We highly suggest our Stacker for 2 or 3 children. You can also stack 2 of our Premier or Classic bands if you prefer a wider look. A snuggle in the middle is a great addition! Another option is to customize a classic band with the appropriate color/number of sapphires per child. Sorry birthstones not available in this style. Can the rings be engraved? Unfortunately the holes for the stones are completely drilled through the band and do not allow room for engraving. What if I am just not satisfied with my ring? Our company prides itself on CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Our rings come with a quality guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason you may return the ring within 10 days for a full refund. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THERE WILL BE A 20% RESTOCKING FEE ON CUSTOM BIRTHSTONE ORDERS. Can I fax in my order? Yes! Please print this order form and fax it to Kelly at 270.518.0441. |
